Turning One

I could not be more proud of my little penguin. She is very mobile, loves opening drawers, and is starting to blabber more and more often. She has said “daddy” once, last Saturday. She hates car rides, but hates to see Dad go to work. She blows kisses, gives kisses, gives hugs, gives high fives, and has a smile that could melt your heart.

She likes sophisticated things, and prefers anything complex over a simple toy. Her brow furrows daily as she tries to solve puzzles and figure things out. She still thinks magazines are for eating.

She eats anything that she deems is good, and she’ll let you know with a resounding “mm” if she liked it. Her personality can’t be summed up with words, but if I had to keep it short I would say “loving and smart” which makes Tiffany and I very lucky parents.
